Expanding Access: WizdomCRM Launches Public Stock Market Game to Power the Next Phase of Financial Literacy

On Sunday 7th June 2026, at the NCB Newtown Centre Rooftop on Maraval Road, WizdomCRM hosted its Cycle 12 Trinidad and Tobago National Virtual Stock Market Game Award Ceremony, with special thanks to NCB Merchant Bank for sponsoring the venue and supporting the continued advancement of financial literacy initiatives in Trinidad and Tobago. In a moment that marked history for the program, Kaveri Lalla of Holy Faith Convent became the first female national champion after four years and 12 cycles, signaling a powerful shift in participation and performance within the space.

To build on this momentum and create pathways for even greater impact, WizdomCRM Chairman Orlando Powell officially launched the Public Stock Market Game, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the program. The launch took place in front of a distinguished audience that included Mr. Marli Crease (CEO, NCB Merchant Bank), Mr. Kent Samlal (Director, Paria Fuel Trading Company), Mr. Charles Maynard (General Manager, National Enterprises Limited), Mr. Jake Gillette (Managing Director, West Indian Traders Ltd.), Mrs. Jacinta Honoré (Principal, St. Mary’s College), along with representatives from the Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission, the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange, corporate partners, educators, parents, and students.

During the launch, Powell articulated a clear vision for the evolution of WizdomCRM, describing the program as more than a standalone initiative, but an expanding ecosystem that integrates students, educators, families, and corporate stakeholders into a continuous learning framework. He emphasized that the success of the platform lies in embedding financial literacy into everyday life, supported by technology, collaboration, and real-time engagement.

Paria Fuel Trading Company x WizdomCRM Employee Stock Market Game Launch

The Public Stock Market Game builds directly on the success of a pilot initiative developed through a growing partnership between Paria Fuel Trading Company and WizdomCRM, where employees were introduced to the platform and trained using simulated trading environments. This initial rollout demonstrated strong engagement and participation, validating the effectiveness of gamified learning within a corporate setting.

The real impact of this initiative is best reflected in the experience of JeNeile Dick, Business Optimizing & Planning Lead Agent at Paria Fuel Trading Company, who shared how the platform transformed her understanding of financial markets and investing. She explained that the WizdomCRM platform gave her the opportunity to “learn about how stocks move and how to trade,” while balancing the realities of a full-time job and family responsibilities. She highlighted that the gamified environment allowed her to understand how markets react to news, economic shifts such as inflation and bond yields, and corporate earnings insights she would not have otherwise gained in such a practical format.

Importantly, her experience demonstrates how financial literacy initiatives can translate into real-life value, as she emphasized that the platform provided a pathway for her family to explore additional income streams, stating that it is “a tool that I’m definitely going to be using… to give my family the opportunity to have an additional income stream, especially in these times.” She also acknowledged the importance of the partnership itself, expressing gratitude to both WizdomCRM and Paria for creating access to this opportunity, reinforcing the role of corporate collaboration in enabling meaningful learning outcomes.

This insight highlights a critical gap the Public Stock Market Game is designed to address, as many individuals have savings habits but lack the exposure, confidence, and tools needed to transition into investing. By providing a structured, low-risk environment, the platform enables participants to build confidence, develop analytical thinking, and engage with financial decision-making in a practical and accessible way.

An important dimension of the Public Stock Market Game is its accessibility beyond traditional participants, as the platform is now extending opportunities not only to students and corporate employees, but also to parents and families, who can participate through sponsorship by WizdomCRM. This expansion reinforces the program’s commitment to building financial literacy as a shared, community-driven experience, where learning extends beyond the classroom and into the household.

By creating this inclusive environment, WizdomCRM is fostering a culture where financial awareness becomes part of everyday life, enabling families to engage collectively in understanding markets, making informed decisions, and exploring wealth-building opportunities together.

Looking ahead, the long-term vision for the Public Stock Market Game is regional expansion, where companies across the Caribbean will be able to interact on a shared platform, compare trading patterns, and gain insights into behavioral trends within financial markets. This creates opportunities for cross-border collaboration, benchmarking, and strategic partnership development, strengthening the connection between corporate investment and measurable impact.

Building on the success of the initial pilot, the next phase of the initiative is already underway, with the Paria Fuel Trading Company Employee Stock Market Game moving toward its first official award ceremony, which is currently being finalized. This milestone reflects the transition from pilot to full implementation and further embeds financial literacy into corporate culture and employee development.

A key feature of the Public Stock Market Game is its integration of artificial intelligence and data analytics, enabling real-time insights into trading behavior, engagement, and performance. These capabilities enhance the participant experience while also providing corporate partners with meaningful data that can support workforce development strategies and continuous improvement.

As demonstrated through the historic achievement of Kaveri Lalla, the impact of the program is clear when individuals are provided with the right tools, access, and support. The introduction of the Public Stock Market Game ensures that this impact can now extend beyond the classroom, empowering a wider audience to participate in financial systems and build long-term value.

In this way, the launch represents more than a program expansion; it reflects a strategic approach to advancing financial literacy, strengthening human capital, and fostering meaningful collaboration between education and industry across the Caribbean.
